Setup Two-Step Authentication

For security reasons, ALL @careplacement.com email addresses require multi-factor authentication. This must be setup by the user within one month of activating their email account. Google will send them reminders during this grace period. After the expiration date, their account will be locked. Only certain admins can unlock a blocked Care Placement email account.

Setting up Two-Step Authentication is essential but not difficult.

Steps

Login to your @careplacement.com google account.

Open Manage your Google Account.

In the side menu, select Security.

Scroll down to Signing in to Google and select 2-Step Verification.

Select Get Started.

Follow the on-screen steps.


If you see this:

Do not ignore it or put it off. Enroll now and follow the steps shown. Otherwise, you may forget to enroll later and your account may be locked.

If you see this:

You waited too long. Your only option is to contact a company admin with access to the Google Admin Console. They will issue backup codes and reactivate the account. Once they let you in, set up Two-Step Authentication immediately.
